Lord Ganesh,also known as Vigneshwara - " The Destroyer of Obstacles" is the first and foremost God in Hinduism. Instead of finding for important Ganesh temples, it is better to search a temple that has no Ganesh temple in any temples. Yes Lord Ganesh is one who is the first deity to bless us. He is the elder son of Lord Siva and Goddess Shakthi. He is given the ultimate power to stop all types of negative forces. Even Lord Siva too had to take his blessings before he had to destroy a demon(thats a different story. Let us talk about that latter). It is believed and practiced in Indian temples that Lord Ganesh will ease and destroys the negative forces when we go and meet the main deity in any temples. So, let us have his blessings first, then now let us go for all the temples and cultural destinations India(Bharat).
